How do I customize the menus in SEO ScriptsPosted 2011-07-18 in SEO Scripts FAQDo you need to modify the navigation menus for SEO Scripts? The default SEO Scripts theme displays three menus in the sidebar: Navigation, Categories, and Links. These menus are generated dynamically from code placed in layout_default.tpl. Editing Menus Using Admin CP
The Navigation menu shows links to published pages. Pages in this menu can be added, published, or unpublished in Admin CP > Edit Pages. The Categories menu lists all active tool categories. Categories can be created, edited and de-activated in Admin CP > Categories. The Links menu lists all active Site Links. Site Links can be created, deleted, and edited in Admin CP > Site Links. Editing Menus ManuallyIf you need to customize menus further, you can edit the template to add or remove menus and links. Sidebar menus are located in /tpl/seo/layout_default.tpl. Each sidebar menu is an unordered list, generated by a custom code.
If you wish to change these menus manually, you can replace the custom code with your own HTML. For example, a custom Navigation menu would look like this: <div class="ksmenu"> You can now customize the menu to include links to any URL as you see fit.
